2010 Season
The Whitman 14's win the 2010 Massachusetts District 8 Champion Title!
What an exciting turn of events for this Whitman Summer Team. Starting off their journey back on June 28th with a loss to team Quincy with a score of 9-0 put team Whitman in the losing bracket after the first game. This team never gave up and started a winning streak that their fans will never forget. The wins were as follows: Whitman 12 - Cohassett 4, Whitman 11 - Norwell 0, Whitman 16 - Abington 5, Whitman 9 - Canton 8. After our 4 game winning streak and a 5th game forfeit from Rockland the team faced Quincy once again for the championship game(s). Because Quincy was undefeated Whitman had to beat the team twice. In two unbelievable close, edge of your seat games, Whitman beat Quincy on July 10th 6-5 and again on July 11th 5-4. The will to win fair and square brought these boys to an amazing game victory! We wish them well as they continue their journey in the Sectional Division.

The team left to right: Zachary Perkins, Brian Feeney, Matt Drew, Joe Pretorius, Evan Derochea, Jake Turner, Vinny Scigliano, Mike Anderson, Pat Christie, Chase Cookson, Torrey Champignie, Shane Devlin, and Zach Downey. Coaches Brian Cookson, Tim Champignie, Eric Pretorius.
